Preview:Disney has confirmed ‘The Simpsons Movie’ sequel will arrive in 2027.The studio offered no other details.This new movie has been in development for a few years.Despite the series’ enduring lifespan –– ‘The Simpsons’ premiered its 37th season this past year, having debuted all the way back in 1989 –– 2027 seems less like striking while the iron is hot and more waiting until it is practically ice cold to the touch in terms of following up the show’s cinematic debut, 'The Simpsons Movie'.
