Preview:Mahershala Ali has confirmed he’s no longer involved in Marvel’s ‘Blade.’He was originally announced in 2019.A string of writers and directors have come and gone since then.Back in 2019, there was much excitement at Marvel’s panel as part of the San Diego Comic-Con as studio boss Kevin Feige brought two-time Oscar winner Mahershala Ali on stage to announce that he’d be playing the MCU iteration of Blade the half-vampire, fang-battling character famously brought to life in a trilogy of movies starting in 1998 by Wesley Snipes (who would go on to reprise the role in ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’).
